Power Tools!

Denise takes on the challenge of a lifetime–teaching me how to use power tools. I’m in love. I want my own sawhorses.

Many hours, some heavy change dropped at Greenburg’s Hardware Store, and two broken saws (jigsaw and circular) later, Denise gives Vi’s husband the I-feel-your-pain sigh as she chugs her wine and departs Chester Knoll—was she praying?. She’s supposed to come back. And what about that lifetime warranty on Craftsman tools?

In these photographs we are cutting the wood for the bases for the grounds (refrigerator doors) that will be used for the next large installation. The subject of this massive amount of work I have ahead of me? Counting the Omer, of course. Stay tuned.
