Portrait of Anna, day2–pencil drawing continued

In our class with Jaye Fox yesterday we worked on drawings of Anna for the second time. Clearly this drawing has a long way to go, but I learned some things yesterday, not the least of which was how to sharpen a pencil and how to utilize an anatomy book. I will practice making light marks with my pencil. It is quite possible I am learning a little bit of patience, as unlikely as that possibility seems.

Remember, if you are out and about this weekend—Anna’s play is happening in Dorset….I watched rehearsal last night and People in the Wind is definitely my new favorite play.
