Sarah, talented art professor and craft-master extroardinaire, came and taught my mom and I a lesson on creating worlds contained in found objects.

I like the idea that a regular object, or even piece of trash, could contain its own world if you look closely. This relates to the idea that everything holds its own story, and also that you can make something great out of just about anything. I am considering using this project for something I could do with students.

Sarah’s world from the outside…

…and the inside.

Mama’s world from the outside…

…and the inside.

My world from the outside…

…and the inside.
